This session with Miles was basically the perfect mix of style, personality, and just a whole lot of fun.
We started out at the farm, where the evening light and open fields gave us the most relaxed backdrop. Miles was totally in his element—easygoing, up for anything, and willing to wander around wherever I suggested.
One of my favorite parts of the day was photographing him with his saxophone. There’s something so cool about seeing a senior bring a piece of who they are into their photos, and the way he held that sax felt like second nature. We caught a few shots of him mid-song, standing in the grass with the sun dipping behind him, and they turned out so good.
Then came the showstopper: his classic Pontiac Trans Am. The moment he pulled up, I knew we were about to have some serious fun. We took photos with him leaning against it, sitting inside it, and even a few where the car basically stole the spotlight—in the best way. It added that perfect touch of personality and style to his gallery.
To round things out, we finished the session with a few shots of him and his bowling ball—because yes, Miles bowls too. Capturing him in his favorite hobby gave the whole session this playful, laid-back vibe that tied everything together.
Miles’ senior session felt like a little tour of everything that makes him him—music, wheels, bowling, and the outdoors. Such a fun combo and an even better evening.
